Since 1976 Lighthouse Women's Aid provide a safe and supportive refuge for women and their children requiring an emergency temporary home when they leave an abusive partner or family member. They are offering an opportunity for all women, young people and children across the county to develop new skills. Their children’s service team will assist with the admission of children to schools and nursery places. They hold therapeutic play sessions to recover the effects of domestic abuse.
