Desperado Horse Riding tours was founded in the late 1990s by the Yildiz family in the southwest part of Turkey and has been frequented and supported by local horse lovers as well as those from abroad. The family continues to live together and in harmony on our ranch with our horses, dogs, cats, sheep, goats, chicken, and ducks. We pay detailed attention to the needs of our guests whilst maintaining a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

During your stay at Desperado Ranch, you can enjoy large Turkish breakfast, with your hosts for you can elect to dine out at one of the nearby restaurants in Calis, Göcek or Fethiye.

Horse Riding Aventures

You can choose if you want to join one of the shorter rides from 2 hours to a full day or if you prefer exploring the environment for 2 days, a full week or longer. For those who want to learn about horses and all the related work at the ranch, Desperado offers a special work & ride offer.  For those looking for longer tours, Desperado offers 7 Days Hore Riding Holidays with all food and ranch style accommodation provided

   

 

Full Moon Riding Tours ( 3 hours )

Shortly after moonrise we venture out into the dark our ways only lit by the full moon. At a walking pace, we’ll tour the local area along tracks past the river heading for the seaside. You can hear the silence

   

 

Did you know that horses see very well at night? They walk calmly and steady and on some patches, we can even trot depending on the experience of the riders. The tour is suitable for riders with less as well as more experience. We ride along the beach, the waves sparkle in the moonlight.

HORSE RIDING TOURS. 2 Day Tour.

Start early in the morning, leaving the ranch and heading through small Turkish villages towards the mountains. Passing a trout farm, we’ll stop for a traditional Turkish breakfast at the river side before we continue our ride, climbing slowly higher into the mountains. The surrounding forest offers some shade. Depending on the condition of the way, we can trot.

We’ll cross the river and reach Yesil Vadi for lunch, and if the temperatures allow, you can enjoy a first refreshing bath in the natural pool of crystal-clear water. In the afternoon we’ll ride further up the mountains to enjoy the marvelous nature before we return to Yesil Vadi for the night where we’ll sleep in tents. Those not afraid of heights can sleep high up in the trees enjoying the sound of the flowing water below.
