"Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, Inc. dedicated to eradicate poverty and restore human dignity. Their aim is to transform at least 20,000 barangays through their platforms of solidarity by assigning Community Development Coordinators (CDCs) to poor communities to be their partners and mentors in their journey out of poverty. The Community Development Coordinators will check on a monthly basis, facilitate implementation of the different programs and training. They also build relationships with local government units and volunteers to strengthen the community's support system.
