Food Security Foundation India is a non-profit organization encourage food businesses to commit to reducing food waste and also redirecting their surplus to feed those in need. They distribute the food products and meals through a network of community based organizations or NGOs that run institutional feeding programs. These include feeding programs at schools for underprivileged children, homeless shelters, old age homes, after-school programs, orphanages, charitable hospitals and other programs for the needy.
