Chefs Biography - Chef Eric Ripert
Born and raised in France, Chef Eric Ripert was just a youngster when he learned to cook from his grandmother. Following culinary school in Peripignan France , Rupert worked in restaurants in Paris
before arriving in the United States. He became executive chef of the prestigious Le Bernardin in 1994 and two years later became part owner of the the restaurant. With his signature French and Seafood cuisines, Ripert has served as guest chef for the French Embassies in Venezuela and Mexico. He chairs the City Harvest Food Council in New York.
