Profile Description
Situated in Balagne 8km from Calvi, in the northwest of the island, this area was created in the 60s by Baron Henry Louis de La Grange then owner convent Alzipratu. The field was led by Maurice Acquaviva before being taken over by his son Pierre and his wife Cecilia . The vineyard of 40 hectares consists of several plots facing south and is divided into two parts. The first is north of the monastery , near Zilia , the second is located 10 km west of the village of Calenzana in the upper valley of Figarella . Our vines are mostly traditional varieties Corsica. Located at the foot of monte grossu (highest point 1950 meters ) and just minutes from shore, the vines benefit from contrasting climatic influence sea – mountain.
