Bar None Foods was founded in 2012 in Portland, Oregon with four goals in mind.

To offer the cleanest bar on the market. Our ingredients all come from natural, minimally processed food sources and our “Real Food” bars share a simple base recipe of organic seeds (hemp, flax, sunflower, pumpkin) and dates. Additionally, all of our ingredients are certified Organic!

To provide allergen-free options. We’ve done our best to make our bars accessible to as many people as possible by avoiding all of the common food allergens. They are naturally free from gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, and grains, making them safe for just about anyone!

To source our ingredients locally or regionally whenever possible. This helps us guarantee the quality of our ingredients while supporting local farmers and minimizing our carbon footprint. Over 80% of our ingredients grown in North America!

To support and promote the concept of Restorative Justice. Owner and founder Betsy Langton was inspired to start her own small business after completing an internship with the Oregon Department of Corrections. During this experience she learned that a person should not be defined by the worst mistakes they’ve made. This led to her inquiry into the Restorative Justice movement and how she could contribute to its application within the prison system.
