Auckland Foundation were established in 2010 as the community foundation for Auckland. Their first fund the Grassroots Giving Program has distributed almost $3.5 million to 287 small Auckland charities. Each community fund has a unique mission and build a lasting endowment for Auckland and its communities. Their priority for funding are the whānau/families who experience multiple disadvantage across generations.
