Travis Petersen’s love for food and cooking was awakened at an early age in his parent’s family kitchen. By the time he became a teen this mainly self-taught chef further developed his culinary skills by cooking for friends and family.
In 2016 he appeared on Canada’s Master Chef and from there his culinary career took off. His creative flair saw no bounds when in 2018, Canada voted to legalized recreation cannabis. Travis saw and opportunity to embrace this “booming industry” and created the Nomadic Cook brand – one that offers unique dining experiences through cannabis infused creations.
His first Cannabis infused dinner was a pop up idea held in Vancouver BC. Over 4 days he hosted 164 people and 420 more during that weekend. The success of this first event let the way for a Travelling Event, which led Travis to multiple cities including Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Seattle, and San Francisco.
Travis has been a regular on nationwide televised news networks and international media publications such as The Weekend Morning News on Global Edmonton, Global Morning News Calgary, Global Morning News Edmonton, Global Morning News, The Vancouver Sun, The Province, Playboy, The Daily Hive and more!
Today Travis holds special culinary events and also comes to your home, workplace, or private function and cooks your next gourmet meals.
