Chefs Biography - Chef Thomas Keller
This American super chef with exceptional culinary skills began his career at a young age working in a Palm Springs restaurant managed by his mother. He later moved to France where he worked in established Michelin star restaurants including Guy Savoy and Taillevent, and moved back to California in 1986 where he began to establish his empire. Today the Thomas Keller Restaurant group includes well know establishments such as The French Laundry, Per Se and Bouchon Bistro and Bouchon Bakery. He is a recipient of multiple awards including Time Magazines and James Beard Foundation -Americas Best Chef - and the Culinary Institute of America - Chef of the year. He has authored numerous cookbooks and his entrepreneurial skills extend to the creation of a porcelain dinner war collection aptly named Hommage. He is renowned for his exceptional high standards, values and vision and has successfully passed these qualities onto his expert staff.
