Chefs Biography - Chef Tetsuya Wakuda
He may have been born and raised in Japan, but Chef Tetsuya Wakuda has taken Australia by storm with his innovative cuisine that blends Japanese and French cooking styles to produce unique and delicious flavours. Since coming to Australia in 1982 Tetsuya Wakuda has worked in several restaurants including Fishwives and Kinsela's before partnering with a friend to open Ultimo's. In 1989 Wakuda opened his namesake Tetsuyas's in Sydney, which represents traditional Japanese multi-course meals. Over the years,the restaurant has received numerous accolades and considered one of the must visit restaurants when in Sydney .
