As a specialist trade fair and one of its kind in Southeast Asia.
ProWine Asia (Singapore) 2021 is set against a dynamic region that is one fifth the size of Europe, and where industry reports indicate a notable rise in alcohol consumption due to rising affluence and a taste for liquid luxury.
At present, Southeast Asia accounts for 3 percent of global sales and is projected to hit 15 percent in the next five years. This would mean a 30 percent share of the Asian market, up from its current 20 percent. Singapore, home to the region’s largest wine storage vault, is increasingly regarded as Asia’s new wine hub
With its strong brand positioning, efficient transshipment centre, longstanding collectors, and new enthusiasts, the country presents significant growth potential. By 2021, it is reported that Singapore’s wine market will reach a market value of US$1.4 billion, registering an average wine consumption of four bottles per capita.
Reflective of these trends, ProWine Asia (Singapore) 2021 jointly organized by Informa Markets and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, will showcase a wide representation of international wine and spirit labels, an extensive scope of solutions and concepts tailored for the region’s diverse consumer markets, as well as a series of specialized masterclasses and seminars
As a regional event of ProWein Düsseldorf and held alongside FHA Food & Beverage Asia, ProWine Asia (Singapore) also provides an opportune setting to forge new industry networks across the synergistic wines and spirits, food and hospitality sectors.
