Chef Mauro loves tomatoes in his dishes. His restaurant in Menton, France can attest to that. As head chef of Mirazur Fine Dining, he has achieved global recognition through the use of the sweet, tangy and sour flavors of his tomatoes. He expresses his passion for cooking by serving local and seasonal dishes. In 2006 he was awarded with two Michelin Stars. It was a double celebration for that year as he also received the ' Newcomer of the Year' award for his Mirazur restaurant. Further to this are even more self assuming trophies such as ' Best Chef of the Year ' in 2008 and in 2012 his restaurant was elected 24th place in the 50 best restaurants of the world hosted be San Pallegrino and Acqua Panna.rnrnrn
